Generated code runs in an isolated frame with an opaque origin. It can render and react, but it cannot reach your session or anyone else’s data.

Immutable versions

Every generation and every refinement is a new version. Diff any two, restore an older one, and the history stays intact.

A share link pins a specific version, serves it from its own origin, and records views so you know whether anyone looked.

App data that persists

Published apps get a small server-side data API for key-value state and form submissions, so a waitlist or tracker actually keeps its entries.

What do I actually get out of GroundDeck?

One complete web app per generation: a single HTML document with its styles and behaviour inline, kept as a version in your project. You can preview it, refine it, publish it under a share link, or export the file.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe what you want in plain language. If you can write a decent brief for a colleague, you can write a good prompt for GroundDeck. Knowing how to code helps you ask for sharper changes, but it is not required.

Can my published app store data?

Yes. Published apps get a small server-side data API for key-value state and form submissions, so a waitlist keeps its sign-ups and a tracker keeps its entries. You can view and erase that data from your project.

Does it work without an AI model?

There is an offline template mode that builds deterministic apps for common shapes like trackers, dashboards and landing pages. It exists so the product keeps working when generation is paused, not as the main event.

Where is GroundDeck at right now?

Private preview. It is built and operated by one person in Germany, and access is opened in small batches so every builder can get a real answer when something breaks. Ask for a seat and say what you want to build.
